Smoke Control Australia is a highly specialised Australian manufacturer and industrial supplier of smoke management and fire safety systems. The business is engineer-led and operates in a tightly regulated environment where compliance, performance, and long-term relationships are critical to success.

For many years, the business succeeded through reputation and long-standing industry relationships. However, buying behaviour across B2B sectors has been shifting, with engineers, architects, and consultants now researching suppliers much earlier in the buying journey. At the same time, competitors offering imported, lower-quality products were gaining visibility simply by being easier to find online.

Our challenge was that Smoke Control’s digital presence didn’t reflect the depth of their expertise or leadership position. We focused on strengthening the foundations — clarifying messaging, refining website content, and implementing a strategic, organic on-page SEO approach designed to establish category ownership.
